The proposed educational trip to Woburn Safari Park has had to be cancelled due to lack of interest. It was simply unfeasible to proceed with the visit with the low number of students that paid and returned their permission slips.
All those that have paid will be given a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
MAEC was honoured to host a special event with Sheikh Usama Abdul Ghani on Sunday 22nd March 2009. Sheikh Usama has been studying in the Hawza of Qum for the last 15 years. He is known for his inspirational speeches and his ability to connect with the youth.
His speech at MAEC was about the topic of "Confidence in Faith".
MAEC timings will be as follows during British Summer Time. This change has been made so that all children can participate in Jamat prayers before leaving.
Start: 09:45
Ends: 13:45
The procedure for picking your child/children up remains the same, i.e. you must come to the Masjid gates and ask for your child before he/she will be allowed out. Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.
The 2009 MAEC Academic year starts on 18th January 2009. All students, (new and existing) will need to register on the 18th in order for their place to be confirmed. Filled application forms must be submitted along with the relevant fee per child on 18th of January. Admissions and all fees must be paid by 01/02/09 at the latest.
