Lady Co-ordinator Vacancies Print E-mail

Nominations are invited from Lady members of our community for the 2 vacant positions of Ladies Co-ordinator and Joint Ladies Co-ordinator.  The two individuals will have the following responsibilities:

1. Organising Ladies Programmes
2. Managing all ladies matters during Muharram and other Majalis programmes
3. Managing ladies Social & welfare issues

4. Organising & facilitating the distribution of Niaz to ladies in all programmes.
5. Promoting Hijab and all other principals of Islam/Fiqe Jafferia
6. Keeping an up to date record of all ladies contact details.
7. Informing ladies of ladies only programmes
8. Organising ladies only fund raising events

9. Forward planning and setting goals & targets.

10. First point of contact for all ladies issues.

And other responsibilities assigned from time to time by the President.

Nomination forms are available to download from the download section of the website or by clicking here.  The completed forms (including a signature of acceptance by the nominee) must be returned to the Secretary General Syed Sajad Shah no later than Friday 17th October 2008.

If more than one nomination is received per vacancy an election will be held.  The election (if required) will take place on Sunday 19th October 2008 immediately after Zohr/Asr prayers.  Lady members of the community will be provided with a ballot paper on the day of the election.
