The offices of Grand Ayatullah Syed Ali Khamanei and Grand Ayatullah Syed Ali Sistani have announced Wednesday the 1st of October to be the 30th Day of Ramadhan. Eid will therefore be on Thursday 1st October. Eid Jamaats will be held at 08:30am and 09:30am at Masjid-e-Ali.

- Adult
male
- Five
years of being well known in the local community of Luton
- Three
years full membership junior/senior(Can be paid on the election day)
- No criminal convictions or involvement in any fraudulent activities etc
- Required
time/dedication available for the community services
- Public speaking/project management skills preferred
Executive Posts:
- President

Posts Criteria:

The current Management Committee is reaching the end of its elected term and there are now vacancies for 7 Executive member posts and 12 non-executive member posts. Members who are interested in taking up these roles are invited to put their names forward, or to nominate a fellow member.
Nominations are to be made by completing the nomination form (download here ). If you nominate a fellow member please ensure the member countersigns the nomination form.
Individuals who wish to nominate themselves or a fellow member must ensure that the criteria for Executive and Non-executive posts is met. If you are unsure whether you meet the criteria please contact a member of the current Management Committee to clarify.

Nominations should reach the Head Trustee by Friday 3rd October 2008
If more nominations are received than there are vacancies:
The election will be held on Sunday 5th September 2008 after Zohr/Asr Prayers
|
If the number of nominations received are equal to or less than the number of vacancies there will be no need to hold a ballot.
